OfferingTree automatically creates a home, offerings, schedule, blog and packages page for you, but you may wish to add additional pages to your site. To get started, go to the "Pages" page in your admin dashboard. There is also a video explaining this feature located at the bottom of this article.
Modifying Existing Pages
Even though you can't edit the content of the pre-built pages that come with your OfferingTree site, you can rename them, change the order in which they appear on your site or unpublish them completly. If you unpublish a page, it will not appear on your site, but it will still show up on the admin page. You can re-publish a page at any time. To rename an existing page, press the "Rename" button. Renaming that page changes the page title on the navigation bar of your website.
Creating a New Custom Page
To get started creating a new page on your site, press the "Create Page" button at the top of the page. This will bring you to a new page where you can build and customize your page content. Here you can customize the page title text, change the page access settings, and create the content for your page. You can save your progress along the way by pressing the "Save" button, and then when you are ready to launch your new page you can publish it. Here is a video with more on creating a custom page.
Editing a Custom Page
To edit a custom page you've added in the past, click on the "edit" icon on the page you'd like to edit. Note that you cannot edit the content of the built-in pages but you can unpublish them.
Here you have the same options you had when creating a custom page.
Sorting and Submenus
Under pages, you can sort all your pages in any order you like. Top to bottom will translate to left to right on your public site. It is as simple as dragging the menu item into order. You can even nest pages one level deep. This will create a drop down menu on your public site with any of number of pages beneath. To create a page with sub pages beneath it, simply drag pages so that they are indented beneath the top level page.
Adding Images, Videos and Other Media to Your Custom Pages
To add images, video, audio files or other embedded content on your custom pages, first navigate to the create or edit form for the page. Then, in the content edit section, enter a newline and press the "+" button. You should see options for adding images, video, audio and other embeddable content. Follow this help article for more details on adding videos and this help article for adding images.
Member Only Pages
You might want to restrict access of some pages on your site to only those who hold a membership subscription. To learn more about memberships, check out this help article section. To restrict access to only signed-in members, navigate to the create or edit form for the page, go to "Page Access Settings" and check the "Members Only" checkbox. You can then select which membership levels you would like to give page access to, or select "all" to give all membership levels access. To see a step by step help article click here.
Unlisted Page
An unlisted page is a page that is not listed or navigable from your website, but people that you share the link with can still access it. To make a page unlisted, check the "Unlisted Page" checkbox in the "Page Access Settings" pane when creating or editing the page. There is a "Copy page link to clipboard" button that will automatically copy the page link or URL to your clipboard so you can paste it in a message to the people you want to share it with. Make sure to publish your page, otherwise the page won't be visible even if someone has the link.
