Link to a Section on the Same Page (Anchor Links)

Want visitors to jump straight to a specific part of your page — like your pricing, a testimonial, or your sign-up form — without scrolling? You can turn any button or hyperlink into a shortcut that scrolls visitors right to that section.

This is a great way to guide people toward the content that matters most, especially on longer pages.

How it works

Every section (or block) on your page can be given its own anchor which is a unique marker you can point a link to. Once a section has an anchor, you can connect any button or hyperlink elsewhere on the page to it. When someone clicks, the page scrolls smoothly down (or up) to that exact spot.

Step 1: Add an anchor to your section

1. Open the page you want to edit and go to the section you'd like visitors to jump to.
2. Click the section and the pencil to open its settings.
3. Scroll down for the Section Name for Links field and give it a short, unique name (e.g., pricing or sign-up). Use letters, numbers, and hyphens only — no spaces.
4. Save the section.

Step 2: Link your button or hyperlink to that anchor

1. Select the button or highlight the text you want to turn into a link.
2. Click Button Settings or Edit Link (or the link icon in your toolbar).
   
3. Choose Link to a section on this page and select the anchor you just created from the dropdown.
4. Save your changes.

That's it — your button or hyperlink will now scroll visitors straight to that section when clicked.

A few tips

• Give anchors clear names. A name like testimonials is easier to manage than section-2 once your page has a few of them.
• Use it in your navigation. Anchor links work great in a page header, top bar, or table of contents so visitors can jump between sections instantly.
• Preview before publishing. Click through your links after saving to confirm they land exactly where you want.
• One page only. Anchor links only work within the same page. To link to a section on a different page, use a full page link instead.

Anchor links are a simple way to make long pages feel short — helping visitors find exactly what they're looking for in one click.
