You can upload custom web fonts (.woff and .woff2) directly to your Site Style Settings. Once uploaded, your custom fonts are available in every font picker across your site, letting you match your site’s typography to your established logo, signage, and brand guidelines.
Font Requirements & Compatibility
Before uploading, ensure your font files meet these requirements:
Supported File Formats:
.woffand.woff2.Unsupported Formats: Formats like
.ttf,.otf, or.eotare not supported.File Integrity: Files that are oversized, corrupted, or manually renamed from unsupported formats will be rejected with an error message upon upload.
Usage Rights: You must confirm that you have the appropriate web-use licensing for any font you upload. The system logs who confirmed the license and the timestamp of the upload.
Scope: Uploaded fonts are tied exclusively to your account and can only be rendered on your site.
How to Manage Custom Fonts
All custom font management takes place in Site Style Settings.
Uploading a New Font
Go to Site Style Settings in your admin dashboard.
Locate the custom font upload section under Site Fonts.
Select or drag and drop your
.woffor.woff2file.Check the box to confirm you hold the legal rights to use the font on the web.
Save your changes.
Once uploaded, the font will appear in all font pickers alongside the curated Google fonts, complete with a preview rendered in its actual typeface.
Applying Custom Fonts Across Your Site
Custom fonts appear in the font dropdown menus across your site editor:
Global Styling: Set your custom font as the default Heading Font or Body Font in your global Site Style Settings.
Page Builder: Select your custom font for individual text blocks using the block font picker.
Where They Render: Custom fonts automatically render on your public site, embedded site widgets, and inside the admin page preview.
Note on Email Styling: Custom fonts do not apply to automated or marketing emails. Because email clients restrict external font loading, emails will continue to use universal web-safe fonts.
Renaming or Deleting Fonts
You can manage your font list directly from Site Style Settings. Each listed font displays an indicator if it is currently assigned as your global heading or body font.
Renaming: Changing a font's display name only updates how it appears in your admin dropdown menus. It will not alter how the text looks on your site.
Deleting: Deleting a font requires a prompt confirmation. If a deleted font is currently active on any page or block, those elements will automatically fall back to the default site font to prevent broken text or visual glitches.
Note: Custom fonts render on your public website, embedded widgets, and inside the admin page preview. Sites using standard Google fonts will keep their current styling. Custom font uploading is available on all plans.
