In the previous article, we showed you how to create a store item and add a nice title and description. Now you're ready to start building the content. There are three types of content you can add to your store items: Files, Rich Text and Custom Code.
Add Videos, Audio, PDFs, Documents and More
You can add videos, audio files, PDFs, word documents, spreadsheets and a few other file types to your store items. To get started add a file, press the "click to select files" link or drag a file into the dotted box. Once you select the file or drag it into the box, you should see it upload. Once the upload completes you can rename the title if you like. You'll want to keep the title short.
Add Rich Text Content
When adding rich text content you'll need to fill in the title and the text content. The text content can include formatted text as well as images and videos. You can refer to articles in this section to learn more about using the rich text editor.
Add Custom Code
If you're feeling adventurous, you can add custom code content to your store item. You should trust the code you paste in here and get it from a reputable service! One idea for what you can do with custom code is embedding a Google Form to make a quiz. Another idea is if you want to embed a video from YouTube.
Arranging Your Content
Now that you have all your content in place, you may want to organize and arrange the order. If you have a lot of content in an item, you can add modules and submodules to organize your content and make it more manageable for your clients. You can drag and drop content in the order you want and drop content into modules or submodules. Here is a short video on how you can organize your content.
Previewing Your Content
You may want to know how you can see what your item is going to look like for your clients and customers. To preview your item content, press the Preview button on the top of the page once you have at least one piece of content saved.
