Whether you are planning classes for the future or looking to reward your most loyal clients, controlling who can sign up for your events—and when—is a fantastic way to manage your attendance.
With Priority Registrations, you can limit access to specific groups or grant early booking windows to members before opening registration to the general public.
Two Priority Options
There are two main ways you can configure priority registrations:
Exclusive Access: Restrict the event so that only a specific customer segment can register. No one else will be allowed to join.
Early Registration Window: Give certain members (e.g., those with active memberships or packages) a head start to book the event before standard registration opens to everyone else.
How To Set Up Priority
- Navigate to your schedule. Click to Add a new event or select Edit on an existing session.
- Scroll down the event creation/edit page to locate the Capacity Settings section.
- If you want to set the session to be limited to a segment, look for "Only Allow Registrations From Custom Segment" and choose the segment(s).
- If you want to give extra time for early registration to segments, toggle on "Limit Early Registration".
- Set your standard window. For example, specify that standard registration opens 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the event date.
- Check the option to "Allow Extra Time" for a specific customer segment (such as clients with an active membership or package)
- Define the early window for this priority group (e.g., granting them an extra week, allowing them to register nearly a month before the event starts).
What Clients See on the Schedule
General Public / Non-Members: The schedule will display that registration is currently closed and will clearly show the specific future date when it opens for them (e.g., opening 14 days prior).
