When running an event series, you are not limited to full-series registrations. You can enable a "drop-in" option, allowing clients to sign up for a specific date or session within the series rather than committing to all of them.
How to Enable Single Drop in
Create a new event series or open your current event series to edit it.
Navigate to the settings and find the option to enable single event signups.
Choose how you want to manage these sessions.
Waitlist Only: Force single-event registrants onto the waitlist so you can manually move them to the active roster only after full-series registration ends and you see which sessions have low numbers.
Immediate Registration: Add clients right away to that single event roster if maximizing immediate signups is your priority.
Set your capacity limits by defining exactly how many extra spots you have open for drop-ins alongside your full series registrations.
If you are creating a new series, save it first before adding events to it.
Set your pricing and credits by editing individual events within the series to establish how much a single drop-in session will cost and how many credits can be used.
Once you are happy with your settings, click Update the series.
Adding Clients To The Event Series Roster
When adding clients through the roster, there will be two distinct options: they can be registered for a single event or the full series.
The orange 1X marks that this event series allows drop-ins.
Once clients are registered, they roster will show whether the client booked for the full series, or that single event only.
What It Looks Like on the Schedule
When clients view your schedule, they will find the event series and see two distinct options: they can register for the full series, or select the option underneath to register for a single event.
When selecting a single event, the system will explicitly highlight the exact date and time they are booking (e.g., Saturday, June 6th at 9:00 AM) and note that they are purchasing a single ticket for that specific session of the series. Depending on your settings, they will either be confirmed or placed on the waitlist.
Useful Tips & Notes
Tip: Maximize Attendance with the Waitlist FeatureUse the "Waitlist Only" option for drop-ins if your series usually sells out. This ensures your loyal, full-series clients get first priority, while still giving you a backup pool of drop-in clients to fill last-minute empty seats.
Note on Pricing FlexibilityChanging the price of an individual session does not alter the overall cost of the full series. You can adjust single-session pricing (e.g., setting a single drop-in to $20 or $30 when the full series is $80) to whatever works best for your business model.
