Connecting your accounts unlocks three powerful features:
- Automatic Facebook Pixel Installation: The Facebook Pixel is a small piece of code that helps Meta track visitors on your website. We automatically install and manage this for you. This allows you to see how people interact with your OfferingTree site after clicking your ad, ensuring you get accurate credit for the customers you bring in.
- Powerful Conversion Tracking: Ever wonder if your ads are actually leading to sales? With this integration, we can send conversion data directly to Meta. When someone registers for a class, buys a membership, or purchases a store item from your ad, Meta knows. This helps their algorithm learn who your best customers are, so it can show your ads to more people just like them.
- Dynamic Audience Syncing: You can sync your OfferingTree customer segments directly with your Meta Ads account to create Custom Audiences. Want to run an ad specifically for members who haven't visited in a month? Or find new people who look just like your most active clients? This feature makes it simple.

Part 1: Connecting Your OfferingTree and Meta Accounts
First, we'll establish the basic connection. This process authorizes OfferingTree to communicate with your Meta Business account.
- From your OfferingTree admin dashboard, navigate to Business Settings, then click on App Integrations.
- Find the Facebook/Meta Ads integration and click Add Facebook Account.
- A pop-up will explain the permissions we need. Click Enable to proceed.
- You will be redirected to Facebook. If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to do so. Otherwise, confirm you want to Continue.
- Facebook will ask which business you want to connect. Select the name of your business from the list and click Continue.
- Review the permissions that allow OfferingTree to manage ads for your business and click Save.
- You'll be sent back to OfferingTree. Now, select the specific Meta Ad Account and Business Manager Account you want to use. (Most people only have one of each).
- Choose your Pixel:
- If you already have a Meta Pixel, you can select it from the dropdown menu.
- If you don't have one, simply click the Create the pixel button, and we'll create a new one for you!
- Click Connect Assets.
That's it! Your accounts are now linked. We will automatically add the Meta Pixel to your OfferingTree website—no need to copy or paste any code.
Part 2: Enabling Conversion Tracking
Now that you're connected, you can tell OfferingTree to send valuable conversion data to Meta to improve your ad performance. This feature is off by default, so you'll need to enable it.
- On the Facebook/Meta Ads integration page, you'll see a section for Settings.
- Enable the Conversion Tracking toggle.
- You can choose which specific actions you want to track as conversions, such as:
- Event/Class Registrations
- Appointment Bookings
- Store Item Purchases
- Package & Membership Purchases
- Form Submissions
- Newsletter Subscriptions
- Click Save.
Now, whenever a customer completes one of these actions, we'll securely send that event—along with purchase value—to Meta. This data is crucial for optimizing your ads to find more paying customers.
Part 3: Syncing Customer Segments to Create Powerful Audiences
This is where your marketing can get really smart. By syncing your customer segments, you can run highly targeted ad campaigns.
- On the Facebook/Meta Ads integration page, enable the Custom Audiences toggle.
- Choose which of your existing OfferingTree customer segments you'd like to sync. For example, you might choose "Active Customers" or a custom segment you've created.
- Click Save.
We will securely sync this list with Meta to create a Custom Audience. In your Meta Ads Manager, you'll see a new audience named "OfferingTree - <Your Segment Name>". This audience is dynamic and will update automatically as people join or leave the segment in OfferingTree.
What can you do with these audiences?
- Create Lookalike Audiences: This is one of the most powerful tools in digital advertising. You can tell Meta, "Find me new people who have similar interests and behaviors to my 'Active Customers'." Meta will then create a brand new, larger audience for you to target with your ads, helping you reach potential new clients who are a perfect fit for your business.
- Run Retargeting Campaigns: You can create ads specifically for people in a certain segment. For example, create a "We Miss You!" ad campaign targeted only at your synced list of members who haven't attended a class in the last 30 days.
