Keep select classes off your public schedule while still letting clients register via a direct link.
What are Private Events?
Private events are offerings you add to your schedule that are hidden from your public-facing booking page. They're ideal for exclusive workshops, invitation-only sessions, or any class you don't want everyone to see.
- Private events do not appear on your public schedule by default.
- Clients with a matching package or membership may see the event if they're signed in.
- Anyone with a direct link can view the event page and register — no package required.
- Private events are marked with a Private tag in your admin schedule view.
Setting A Single Event As Private
You can make an existing class private or set a new one as private when adding it to your schedule.
Making An Existing Class Private
- Go to your Schedule.
- Find the class you want to hide and open its settings.
- Toggle the Private event option to on.
- Save your changes.
Setting A New Offering As Private
- Go to your Schedule and click Add button.
- Choose Schedule an Offering and choose one from your available offerings.
- Fill in the event details as usual.
- Before saving, enable the Private option.
- Save the event. It will not appear on your public schedule, however, if this offering is part of a package or membership, your clients will see them if they are logged into their account. If you don't want clients to see these events with valid memberships or packages, untick the box to Accept valid memberships and packages.
Private Event Series
You can apply the same privacy controls to an entire event series, giving you flexible display options for recurring sessions.
Creating A Private Event Series
- Go to your Schedule and create a new Event series.
- Add your individual events to the series.
- Under the display settings, choose from any of these settings:
- Show All Events: this will show all event dates of the series on the public schedule.
- Show One Event: this will only show one event of all dates of the series on the public schedule.
- Hide all events: this will hide all event dates of the series from the public schedule.
- Save the series.
The series will be visible in your admin schedule view but won't appear on the public-facing schedule your clients see.
Sharing A Private Event and Event Series with Clients
To let clients register, share the direct event link. They'll land on the full event page and can sign up from there — no package or membership needed.
- Find the private event in your schedule.
- Click Actions.
- Select Share.
- Click Copy link to Clipboard to copy the URL.
- Send the link to your clients via email, SMS, or any other channel.
