You can gift a package to any one of your clients, friends or fellow instructors. What's neat is that the package does not need to be published (public), which means you can create packages strictly for giving away limited or unlimited access to your Offerings. It's super flexible.
To get started, first create your package. See this help article to learn how to create a package. Once your packages are created, go to the packages & memberships section of your admin site and go into the details of the package.
Next, click on the "Give this package to someone" button. This brings up a modal (see below) where you can enter the recipient's name and email address, which are required. You can optionally include a message that will be sent in the package claim email. You can edit the number of credits, but it defaults to the number defined in the package. Finally, you can set an expiration date for the package. If you do not set this, it will default to the expiration policy of the package. This allows you to override an expiration date if you want to give someone extended access to the package. Your clients will need to use the package up before it expires. The package can also not be used to book classes or appointments beyond the expiration date.
Once you hit "Send", you have given a package to someone. This means that the recipient will get an email with links to claim the package. They need to complete this step before they can start using the package. See this article for instructions on how clients can claim their gift.
That's all there is to it! A very flexible way to provide free trials, thank you rewards, etc.
