Can I use a different currency when collecting payments?

In order for you to collect payments from your clients, we use Stripe as our payment processor, and they support collecting payments in over 40 countries, including Canada, the UK, and the EU. You will need a bank account in one of those countries in order to collect online payments using our platform.

Once you set up your Stripe account, your currency for your OfferingTree account will match the Stripe account. For example, if you are in the UK and set up your bank account with Stripe, you can collect payments in GBP.

If you do not have a bank account in any of the listed countries, you can still use OfferingTree to manage your class, workshop, or appointment booking registration. However, in this case, you will need to manage handling payments yourself. If you would like to show the price of your offerings, you can set the currency for your offerings every time you schedule an offering. For example, if you wanted to set your price to be in GBP, you can enter GBP in the Currency field and select the appropriate country:
