Creating Your Site

Every account includes the ability to host a custom site with flexible page settings and easy-to-use design tools. Whether you're starting with a template or building block-by-block, this guide will help you navigate the process from initial draft to final publication. 

Default Pages and Customization

Every new account comes with a suite of pre-built, default pages to help you get started quickly.

  • Standard Default Pages: These include your Homepage, Offerings, Memberships/Packages, Schedule, Blog, and Contact pages.
  • Draft Pages: The Store and Gift Card pages are automatically set to "Draft" mode initially.
  • Custom Pages: You are not limited to the defaults; you can create entirely new pages from scratch or using templates.
  • Hiding Pages: If you don't wish to use a specific default page, you can hide it by changing its visibility to "Unlisted" or "Unpublished".

How to Edit Your Pages

You can manage and refine your site content through the Pages tab within the Websites section.

  • Accessing the Editor: Click on the three dots alongside the page title you wish to modify to open the editor.
  • Navigation Order: You can rearrange the order in which pages appear in your site's navigation menu.
  • Quick View: Click the link below a page title to open a live preview in a new tab.
  • Header & Footer: While editing the Homepage, you can access global settings for your site's header (navigation) and footer.
  • Section Editing: Click on any specific section of a page to edit its text style, buttons, or images.
  • Moving Content: Use the arrows to move sections up or down, or use the "Copy/Paste Section" tool to move content between different pages.
  • Copy Content: You can copy a section and use it on another page.

Page Styles and Visibility Settings

Each page has individual settings to control its appearance and who can access it.

  • SEO and Identity: You can customize the page title, add an SEO title, and write a description to improve search engine visibility.
  • Visual Style: Customize the page width, background colors, transparency, or add background images and animations.
  • Visibility Options:
    • Published: Publicly available to all visitors.
    • Unpublished: Only visible to logged-in admins with editing access.
    • Unlisted: Visible only to those with the direct link; it will not appear in the navigation menu.
    • Members Only: Restricts access to clients with specific memberships.
