What is a Text Message Segment?
Think of a text message segment like a single unit of a text message. Sometimes, a longer text message needs to be broken down into multiple segments to be sent.
So, a longer text message or messages with special characters or emoji might use up more than one segment from your monthly quota. You'll see a segment count when you're writing a text message, so you know how many segments it will use.
Optimization Tips
- Avoid emojis or special characters if you want to save credits.
Use short links to keep counts low.
Be concise with your message
How to Check Your Usage and Your Quota:

- Upgrading Your Plan: Consider upgrading to a plan with a higher text message segment allowance.
- Purchasing Add-on Credits: You can purchase the "Text Messaging Segments" add-on to add additional monthly credits to your subscription.
