OfferingTree allows you to force agreement to your terms and conditions whenever someone registers for an event, event series or books an appointment. Adding a waiver requirement to a registration means that the student or client MUST agree to your terms and conditions before they can register to your class or book an appointment. To enforce waiver agreement and attach your terms and conditions to an event, simply check the "Require waiver consent" checkbox in the form used to create the event or appointment.
After checking the waiver consent checkbox for the first time, a waiver create window will open where you can enter your terms. OfferingTree provides default terms and conditions language. Feel free to use it as is, edit it, or replace with your own language. Press the "create" button to save.
After you create your waiver, a drop-down selector will appear and the waiver you just created will automatically be selected.
The next time you create an event and check the "require waiver consent checkbox", the waiver drop-down selector will automatically appear. You can choose an already existing waiver or create a new one. You can also edit an existing waiver by pressing the pencil icon to the right of the selected waiver. Note that if you edit an existing waiver, your clients will be forced to agree to the updated waiver the next time they register for your event.
After creating your event, the waiver will be attached to the registration for the event and must be viewed and agreed to in order for registration to be complete. You can remove a waiver attached to an event by editing the event and unchecking the "require waiver consent" checkbox.
